Vasudev is the Founding Partner at Trinala Chambers. His practice focuses on Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Private Equity and Venture Capital advisory, Corporate Restructuring, Commercial Contracts, General Corporate advisory, Employment and Labour law matters.
Over his nearly two-decade-long career, Vasudev has led and advised on numerous transactions for both Indian and foreign corporates. His advisory experience is wide-ranging and includes structuring innovative equity and hybrid investments, as well as advising clients on commercial, regulatory, and corporate governance issues.
While Vasudev follows a sector-agnostic approach, he has developed strong domain expertise across a diverse range of industries, including IT/ITES, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, real estate, media, telecommunications, microfinance, liquor, heavy engineering, mining and minerals and defence.

Senior Founding Partner
S R Suryanarayana Rao is the Senior Founding Partner of Trinala Chambers with over 54 years of experience in contentious legal practice.
His practice focuses primarily on property-related disputes, with particular emphasis on matters involving wills, inheritance, succession, the Transfer of Property Act, and the Specific Relief Act. Over the decades, he has conducted and advised in several high-profile matters, including those involving politicians, large builders, and real estate developers.
Mr. Rao has a deep academic and practical interest in Hindu Law, especially in relation to inheritance and succession and women’s rights to property. He has developed a specialised and nuanced understanding of the evolution of Hindu law, tracing its development from the pre-codification era to the most recent amendments to the Hindu Succession Act.
He has delivered numerous lectures on Hindu law and allied subjects at Judicial Training Academy, as well as at various advocates’ forums and universities. He has also contributed scholarly articles to leading law journals, offering critical analysis of landmark judgments delivered by superior courts. Several of his lectures are available on YouTube.
His other areas of interest include the Code of Civil Procedure. With his extensive courtroom experience, he possesses a deep insight into the practical functioning of courts and the application of law, and has made thoughtful suggestions aimed at improving efficiency in the administration of justice.
